On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 10, the gymnasium at St. Olivier School was filled to capacity as parents, grandparents, and community and Parish friends gathered for the annual Christmas Concert. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation, and the students did not disappoint.
From Kindergarten through Grade 6, the students took the stage with confidence and joy. It was clear that the children were exceptionally well-prepared, delivering polished performances that ranged from the touching nativity story in “A Gift for Jesus” to the high-energy musical numbers of “Jingle Bell Jukebox.”
The afternoon was guided by the school Principal, who did a fantastic job as the Master of Ceremonies, keeping the energy high and the audience engaged between acts. The event was also a testament to the dedication of the St. Olivier staff. Through their hard work and direction, they demonstrated true faith leadership, ensuring that the true meaning of the season remained at the heart of every performance.
The concert concluded with a moving finale that united the entire room. The audience joined the students in a reverent rendition of “Silent Night,” followed by the students singing “Children of the Light.” It was a truly heart-warming afternoon that left everyone carrying the spirit of Christmas home with them.
