In the month of November St. Michael School held both a Remembrance Day Ceremony and a Mass with the theme of Remembrance. The grade nine students took a lead role with the ceremonies with the band playing God Save the King and O Canada as well as students leading us in reflection, prayer and remembrance. Through these ceremonies students and staff had time to honour and reflect on those that have made great sacrifices for our freedom. We continue to pray for peace and focus on one our greatest hopes – that all will be free to grow in the love and peace of Christ.
