Strategic Plan
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us as we start the work of creating a new three‑year strategic plan. We have much to celebrate, and moving forward we pray for continued success. By sharing your thoughts and rating the thoughts of others, we have a picture of where we want to focus our work. When the new strategic plan is ready, we will share it with all our school communities.
Mental Health Week
The month of May begins with Mental Health Week May 4-10. Once part of a pilot program, the Mental Health Capacity Building team at RCSD has grown, both in scope and in numbers. This team began at one high school, and has since expanded to provide resources to help students, staff and families grow skills and access supports for mental health.
Catholic Education Week
Leading up to Ascension Sunday, Catholic Education Week is May 10-17. This is a week for us to reflect upon the gift of Catholic Education. Particularly in Saskatchewan, publicly funded Catholic Education is a blessing for which we are grateful. Thank you for your support and choosing Regina Catholic Schools.
Spring Meetings
We spent time meeting with fellow school division trustees through spring assembly events with both the Saskatchewan Catholic School Boards Association and the Saskatchewan School Boards Association. Collaborating on common issues allows us to better advocate for our students and staff to meet our mission to work with the community and the local church to provide a quality Catholic education which respects the diversity of all staff, students and families and fosters academic excellence and the development of informed, responsible citizens.
