St. Mary’s Celebrates Pink Shirt Day with Faith in Action

Mar 5, 2026 | Holy Family Catholic School Division

Students and staff proudly filled our hallways with vibrant shades of pink as a sign of our commitment to kindness, inclusion, and respect. Anchored in faith, our school community reflected on the words of Jesus, “Love one another as I have loved you.” (John 13:34)

Throughout the day, classrooms participated in meaningful conversations and prayer, exploring how we are called to stand up for others, especially those who are feeling left out or hurt. Students participated in many activities including kindness pledges, and getting to create their own personal pink shirts. Our older students used this day as an opportunity to lead by example, gathering with their class buddies to talk about how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Pink Shirt Day at St. Mary’s was a joyful reminder that we are a community, and when we choose kindness, we reflect the light of Christ in our school and beyond.
