The month of February is recognized as Indigenous Storytelling Month in Saskatchewan. Storytelling is both a gift and a custom, used to teach, entertain, and remember. Through the month of February, storytelling events are held by libraries and their partners in communities throughout Saskatchewan. A number of events are also held within schools to celebrate Indigenous Storytelling Month.
