Each September, St Michael School celebrates a new school year with our Grade 4 Good News Mass. The entire school joins together at St Vincent de Paul parish in Weyburn with Fr. Val Amobi to celebrate the start of a new year and all the ways the good news and gospel stories enhance the school year. The church comes alive buzzing with the excitement of the students, staff and community of parishioners who join together. The grade 4 students share their talents taking the lead roles in the Mass including the presentation of the scripture reading orally and with sign language. Each grade 4 student receives the good news bible at the end of Mass.
